J & J OSTROŽOVIČ · VINTAGE 2005 · LIMITED CELLAR STOCK
2005. A chance to open something rare.
A good evening needs little. A shared table, a moment without hurry and a bottle with a story to tell.
Tokaj Selection 3 Puttonyos 2005 invites you to taste a vintage that no new harvest can recreate. At Tokaj Delights, we still have it — from our limited cellar collection.
A RARE VINTAGE · AVAILABLE FROM US
Not every good bottle stays available forever.
J & J Ostrožovič no longer lists the 2005 vintage as a standalone 3 Puttonyos selection. A younger vintage has taken its place. We have kept a small part of this Tokaj story and offer it while our stock lasts.
Limited cellar collection
Every bottle opened reduces the stock of this vintage. If 2005 means something to you, or you enjoy discovering older Tokaj wines, this is a chance to choose a bottle with its own story.
BOTRYTISED BERRIES, TUFF AND PATIENCE
Small berries. Great Tokaj character.
It begins with Tokaj grape varieties and cibéby — raisined berries enriched by the noble fungus Botrytis cinerea. After the addition of essence from overripe cibéby, the wine matured for three years in the winery’s tuff cellar.
Behind the 3 Puttonyos designation lies a traditional Tokaj selection that deserves time and attention. Give the wine a moment in the glass and discover how its aromas gradually unfold.
The tuff cellar of J & J Ostrožovič. Where Tokaj wine develops its character.
THE CHARACTER OF VINTAGE 2005
Golden amber. An aroma worth lingering over.

The characteristic Tokaj bread-crust aroma and notes of dried fruit.

Sweet character and rich minerality.

A MOMENT AT THE TABLE
With strudel. And an evening to remember.
The aroma of baked apples, nuts and raisins. Strudel arrives at the table, accompanied by a small glass of Tokaj. The 2005 vintage can be a lovely reason to stay together a little longer.
Serve at 9–11 °C. Try a sip on its own first, then with apple strudel with nuts, raisins or poppy seeds. For a savoury pairing, the winery recommends duck terrine with horseradish dip and a beetroot crisp.
A GIFT WITH PERSONAL MEANING
If your story began in 2005.
A wedding, the birth of a child, the beginning of a shared journey. If 2005 marks something important, this bottle can be more than a gift. It can hold a memory to share when you open it.
Give it with a simple invitation: let’s open it together. Or choose it for yourself — for an evening you want to give an exceptional flavour.
