J & J OSTROŽOVIČ · ABBREVIO · 2023
The delicacy of pear. The individuality of Furmint.
Furmint Abbrevio 2023 comes from the Makovisko vineyard in Tokaj. It presents the variety in a modern, approachable style, with an emphasis on fruit, aroma and balance in the glass. Pale golden Furmint with aromas of pear, walnuts and acacia honey. Its dry, balanced palate brings together pome fruit, orange peel and a delicate hint of linden blossom.
Slovak Tokaj – home of the J & J Ostrožovič winery.
ORIGIN AND THE WINEMAKER’S SIGNATURE
A grape variety’s individuality begins in the vineyard.
The Abbrevio collection is made from the winery’s own grapes, grown using integrated production practices. Reductive winemaking helps preserve fruity and floral notes. Protected designation of origin connects the wine with the place it comes from.
TASTING PROFILE
From the first aroma to the finish.

AT THE TABLE TOGETHER
Food that lets the wine shine.
Serve at 8–12 °C. First taste the wine on its own, then try it with food. Chilling helps bring out its freshness; too low a temperature, however, will suppress its aromas.
FOOD PAIRING
Beef consommé with vegetables.
FOOD PAIRING
Scallops with carrot purée and risotto.
Who is this wine for?
Choose it if you enjoy pome fruit and delicate floral nuances in white wine. Let its pure character shine at the table: begin with a simple starter, then try pairing it with fish or poultry.
