J & J OSTROŽOVIČ · ABBREVIO · 2023
Lime, flowers and a touch of meadow honey.
Yellow Muscat Abbrevio 2023 comes from the Chotár vineyard in Tokaj. It presents the variety in a modern, approachable style, with an emphasis on fruit, aroma and balance in the glass. Yellow Muscat from the Chotár vineyard unfolds aromas of citrus, gooseberries, flowers and meadow honey. Its off-dry, fruity palate is accompanied by delicate Muscat spice and refreshing acidity.

ORIGIN AND THE WINEMAKER’S SIGNATURE
A grape variety’s individuality begins in the vineyard.
The Abbrevio collection is made from the winery’s own grapes, grown using integrated production practices. Reductive winemaking helps preserve fruity and floral notes. Protected designation of origin connects the wine with the place it comes from.
TASTING PROFILE
From the first aroma to the finish.
COLOUR
Pale greenish yellow.
AROMA
Lime, gooseberries, grapefruit and meadow honey.
PALATE
Exotic fruit with delicate Muscat spice.
FINISH
Medium-long, fresh and subtly sweet.
AT THE TABLE TOGETHER
Food that lets the wine shine.
Serve at 10–11 °C. First taste the wine on its own, then try it with food. Chilling helps bring out its freshness; too low a temperature, however, will suppress its aromas.
FOOD PAIRING
Grilled pike-perch on celery and mustard purée.
FOOD PAIRING
A mildly spicy Asian starter.
Who is this wine for?
It will particularly appeal to lovers of expressive aromas. Give it a little time in the glass and notice how the balance of floral and citrus notes changes. Choose delicately prepared dishes that leave room for the wine too.
